Creative Direction and Branding:
Branding Unification, UX Design, Graphic, Web, Social and Video Design

CHALLENGE:
As the Head of Design, my task was to utilize the existing logo and color scheme of enCappture and enCappture Home Care to establish a consistent visual language. This involved designing and aligning all brand elements while the company was restructuring its framework and merging multiple market segments into a single, cohesive brand while focused on customer acquisition.

ACTIONS:

Visual Assets Creation

- Led the creation of all visual assets including the logo, typography, and color palettes, establishing the visual identity for enCappture and enCappture Home Care.

- Ensured brand consistency across presentations and various media by making assets accessible and easily updatable through Canva and Adobe XD.

- Created the three key icons for the core principles of communication, connection, and 

centralize. 

Image Research and Editing:

- Conducted extensive image research, spending hours to find the perfect photos that aligned with the brand’s vision.

- Utilized Photoshop and other Adobe software to meticulously edit and enhance images, ensuring top-notch quality for all visual materials.


Style Guide Development:

- Developed and maintained a very simple to read, but comprehensive style guide and component libraries to maintain design consistency (utilized XD and Canva, with backups on Google Drive).


Collaboration and Leadership:

- Collaborated directly with the CEO, elevating her presentations and business materials for high-stakes events and workshops.

- Provided strategic design leadership to the Head of Marketing, creating organized and visually compelling materials that enhanced various marketing initiatives, including forms, web, lead magnets, magazines, print, and event materials.

Innovative Documentation:

- Created video documentation updates to quickly disseminate design principles and changes across the team, fostering a unified approach even in a fast-paced environment
.

Project Management:

- Managed projects using ClickUp and Slack, balancing immediate event material needs with long-term initiatives such as the branding document, website, and the "enCappture University" project.

- Adaptive Feedback Processing:

- Actively sought and incorporated feedback from the sales team to refine designs, demonstrated by responsive changes like the introduction of human elements in event backdrops.


Milestones Achieved:

- Designed and published print magazine print ads.​​​​​​​

- Created cost-effective yet aesthetically pleasing event banners and flyers.

- Developed comprehensive templating systems for various needs, including presentations, customer onboarding, customer success, and workshop materials.

- Introduced creative and unique design solutions that solved specific business challenges, such as developing a templating system that streamlined the creation of customer-facing materials.

- Executed quick turnaround on design projects, adapting to the high-pressure, fast-paced startup environment while maintaining a high standard of quality.

Played a key role in visually merging multiple market segments into a cohesive brand, ensuring the visual language was consistently applied across all departments and touchpoints.
