CHALLENGE

In order to bring its new innovation to the market, the X Marketing team looked to create inspirational use case imagery for marketing and business development. The end goal of this particular graphic is to create an animation so the graphics needed to be designed in a way that CAD files can be handed over to an animator at a later time.

The goal of the graphic is to help the company:

> Elevate the innovation concept with inspirational graphics

> Support internal marketing to bring this innovation to market

ACTIONS

> Researched future automated warehouses in order to familiarize myself with all the potential workflows and equipments in a warehouse environment.

> Worked closely with the X team lead to support and bring his warehouse vision to life

> Creative direction with recommendations on types of machines, processes, stylization,  > Delivered 2D architectural plans sketched in pencil by the team leader. These were developed in illustrator and moved over to CAD. The project required creating a warehouse design from scratch so all sizes, material types, setups, and equipment in the warehouse

> Modeling and rendering an isometric view based on the accompanied graphic as a guideline

> Exported OBJ file to be used at a later time.

> The final deliverable are multiple isometric and birds-eye views in .jpg and .png format

RESULTS

> The final graphics were used as part of internal marketing and the concept was sold to Boston Dynamics; where we were again hired to do more 3D work and animated videos.

> The project went at a record pace, and was done under budget and a tight timeframe of 3 weeks.
